Arrival/Dismissal

First Day of School

Parents will be able to walk their students to class on the first day. If you choose to walk your student to class, you will need to park and enter through door 1. You will not come through the carline.

After the first day, we need all parents to follow arrival and dismissal procedures to keep all students and staff safe. The first few weeks may cause some delays in the carline, but it is important that procedures are followed.

Arrival and Dismissal

Morning Dropoff

Doors open at 7:00 AM. Carline will begin at 7:00. Carline ends promptly at 7:20. Once the bell rings at 7:20, our morning duty staff will close/lock the doors. 

If you arrive after 7:20 and staff are no longer holding the doors, you MUST walk into the front office and sign your child in.

Afternoon Carline Pick-Up:

• Dismissal begins at 2:20 PM.

• We will utilize the same car line as in the morning. See the Above picture for reference.

• Parents should not pull into the back or side parking lot to pick up students.

Walkers & Bike Riders:

Weller students who walk or ride their bike may enter the building from the main entrance on Weller Ave or the backdoor entrance by the staff parking lot after 7:00. In the afternoon, they will be dismissed from the main entrance on Weller Ave and walked North, South or to the bike racks at 2:20 PM. 

Boys and Girls Club-Stalnaker Unit

You can register for after school care by contacting the Boys & Girls Club at 417-862-9249 or going to their website. There is a bus for those registered. It is recommended to call early, they do fill up quickly and have a waitlist. They are open weekdays 2:30-7:30pm.

After School Change

Parents must call BEFORE 1:30 to change how their child is going home.
